What to expect at your visit
- Tell us the timeline — when it started, what is new in your environment, medications or foods.
- Examination of the rash and the rest of you, since some rashes are a sign of something systemic.
- Treatment during the visit where appropriate — including a corticosteroid injection (triamcinolone) for a severe allergic reaction, widespread hives or a bad case of poison ivy — plus prescriptions sent to your pharmacy.
- Clear warning signs to watch for, and when to come back or seek emergency care.
When to go to the emergency room instead
- Swelling of the lips, tongue, face or throat
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Feeling faint or losing consciousness
- A rapidly spreading rash with a high fever
- Blistering or peeling skin over large areas — call 911
Walk in at either Broward clinic
Both clinics are open seven days a week with on-site X-ray and laboratory — Davie on S University Drive and Plantation on Cleary Boulevard. Both serve Davie, Plantation, Cooper City, Weston, Sunrise, Southwest Ranches and the surrounding Broward County communities.
Insurance and self-pay
We accept most major insurance plans, workers’ compensation and auto (PIP) claims, and offer self-pay pricing. Bring a photo ID and your insurance card. Ask the front desk what a visit costs before you are seen — we will tell you.
