Testing is done on site; treatment, when it is indicated, is prescribed and monitored under physician supervision at the Davie and Plantation clinics.

What we evaluate and treat

• Low testosterone (Low T) evaluation — symptom review, examination and laboratory testing, including repeat morning testosterone levels when the first result is low.
• Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) — for men with confirmed low levels and symptoms, prescribed and monitored under physician supervision.

How a visit works

• A confidential conversation about symptoms, history, medications, sleep and lifestyle.
• A focused physical examination and vital signs.
• Laboratory testing on site — typically morning total testosterone, with additional hormone, metabolic and blood-count tests as the history directs.
• A follow-up visit to review results and decide on a plan. Treatment is never started on symptoms alone.

What we will not do

Prescribe testosterone without confirmed low levels and a clinical indication, market hormone therapy as an anti-aging or performance product, or continue treatment without the monitoring it requires. Testosterone is a controlled substance, and it is prescribed here the way the evidence and Florida law say it should be.

In person, at both clinics — and why that is deliberate

Everything here happens face to face. The evaluation, the blood draw, the results conversation and every monitoring visit are done in person at UrgentMed Davie or UrgentMed Plantation — never by questionnaire, never by app, and never on a first video call. Testosterone is a controlled substance and treating it properly means examining the patient, drawing the labs and seeing the same man again. If you have been offered therapy online without an examination or a confirmed laboratory result, that is the difference.

How long it takes to get an answer

Blood is drawn at the first visit, usually in the morning because that is when testosterone is highest and when guidelines say it should be measured. Most results are back within one to three days depending on which tests were ordered, and the results visit is scheduled from there. When a first level comes back low, a second morning draw on a different day is done before any diagnosis is made — one low reading is not a diagnosis, and starting treatment on one is how men end up on therapy they never needed. Expect two to three visits before a plan is settled.

Confidentiality

These are private visits and they are treated that way. Results are released to you, and to anyone else only with your written authorisation; the front desk does not discuss why you are here; and nothing about the visit goes to an employer unless you are here for an employer-arranged examination and have signed for it. If you would rather be seen at the clinic further from your home or work, use the other one — both run the same programme and your records follow you.
