The screenings employers order — for new hires, annual surveillance, school and healthcare placements, and regulatory compliance — done as walk-ins at both Broward clinics, with results and documentation reported to your designated contact. Each screening below has its own page with the details.
Screenings available
- TB testing — PPD skin test (including 2-step) and single-visit blood test, with documentation for the employer or school.
- Titers and immunizations — hepatitis B, MMR, varicella and other titers; required vaccines given on site.
- Spirometry and respirator medical clearance — OSHA respirator questionnaire review and lung-function testing.
- Respirator fit testing — qualitative mask fit testing for N95 and other respirators, with the OSHA medical questionnaire cleared at the same visit.
- EKG — when the position or the physical calls for it.
- Drug and alcohol testing — DOT and non-DOT.
- Vision screening — performed as part of pre-employment and DOT physicals.
- Laboratory testing — baseline and surveillance panels the employer specifies.
How it works
- Employers with an account send employees with an authorization naming the screenings required.
- Screenings are done at the visit; send-out laboratory results are reported when they return.
- Documentation goes to the designated contact by fax or secure email; employees receive their own copy on request.
Screenings not listed here — ask. The occupational health team will tell you plainly whether a screening is available at the clinics or needs to be arranged elsewhere.
