Urgent Care That Takes Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE & VA — Davie & Plantation

Need an urgent care that takes Medicaid or Medicare in Davie or Plantation? UrgentMed accepts Original Medicare, the Medicare Advantage plans common in Broward County, Florida Medicaid managed-care plans, TRICARE and CHAMPVA, and is in-network for the VA Community Care urgent care benefit — at both clinics, seven days a week, walk-in.

Medicare and Medicare Advantage

Urgent care is a covered outpatient benefit under Original Medicare and every Medicare Advantage plan. Bring the plan card (not only the red-white-and-blue Medicare card) so we bill the right plan and collect the right copay.

Florida Medicaid managed care

Florida Medicaid members are enrolled in a managed-care plan under Statewide Medicaid Managed Care; the plan card names it. Urgent care visits are covered; copays, when they apply, are set by the plan.

Military and VA programs

  • TRICARE — East Region (Humana Military); Prime members need no referral for urgent care.
  • CHAMPVA — for eligible spouses, survivors and dependents of disabled veterans.
  • VA Community Care urgent care — enrolled veterans walk in with no referral; UrgentMed is in-network at both clinics.
