What an urgent care visit with Sunshine Health usually covers

Urgent care benefits typically cover same-day evaluation and treatment of illness and injury, in-clinic testing and imaging, and procedures such as stitches or splinting. Preventive services, physicals for work or school, and occupational testing are often billed differently, and the front desk will tell you when something is self-pay before it is done.

• Illnesses and injuries — fever, flu, strep, sinus and ear infections, UTIs, rashes, stomach bugs.
• Sprains, strains and fractures with digital X-ray on site.
